Strawberry Supreme

Sick of Ambrosia - try this!!!!!

Ingredients:
750 grams Strawberries
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons gelatine
3/4 cup water
2 egg whites
300 mls cream

Method:
Slice berries, mix with sugar and lemon juice. Leave to stand whilst you prepare the rest.
Mix gelatin with water and stand for five minutes. Heat slowly to dissolve and then let cool.
Beat egg whites stiff.
Whip the cream.
Stir the gelatin into the strawberries, fold in the egg whites and then the cream.
Pour into a 7-8 cup capacity mould (I just put it into a big bowl without greasing).
Chill until set then cover.
